There are herbal remedies you can use to treat symptoms of testosterone defiiciency ...
If you've been extremely tired lately, experiencing mood swings, or have been unable to sleep, these may be signs of testosterone deficiency. You should definitely talk to your doctor about testosterone deficiency, so that you can find out about ways to treat the condition before it becomes too serious. However, there are also herbal remedies that you may be able to try that will work just as well as traditional medicine. Here are some herbal therapy suggestions that may help.
Before you consider beginning any form of therapy for testosterone deficiency, whether its traditional or alternative, you should try making a few lifestyle adjustments to improve your condition. Making sure you get enough sleep is one way to increase testosterone levels in the body, so even if you have to rearrange your daily schedule, you should see that you are getting at least 7 hours of sleep every night. You should also be sure that you are consuming at least 3 to 5 servings of fruits and vegetables every day, and your diet should be full of protein and calcium as well in order to increase your hormone levels.
When you begin herbal therapy for testosterone deficiency, you take supplements that should work well with your diet, such as ginseng or St. John's wort. These herbs cause the blood to circulate in the body faster, and will give you more energy, since fatigue is one of the main symptoms of testosterone therapy. You may also want to try maca, which is a potato-like herb/fruit that has been known to naturally increase hormonal levels, particularly testosterone, in both men and women. You can purchase maca supplements from your local health food store, or you can order maca from online health companies. You can also try taking Omega-3 fatty acids with meals in order to increase the rate at which your food is digested. The amino acids also contribute to the health of your cells, which could help you to start producing testosterone again at a normal rate. However, before you begin any regimen for the treatment of testosterone deficiency, you should talk to your doctor about herbal supplements and how they may affect any medications you may currently be taking.
