Working Out For Muscle Increase

By Health & Fitness Editor

Muscle increase is just one good reason to start working out, as the author of this article explains ...

Why do we work out? This is a good question that actually has a variety of answers. In fact, it often varies from person to person. We all have our own reasons for adopting fitness regimes and exercise programs. Some of us want to lose weight. This is probably the number one reason people work out on a regular basis. Other reasons include muscle increase, stamina, endurance, power, speed and overall health. Like I said, there are many reasons for working out. Now, for me it mostly has to do with looking and feeling fit. I want to look nice, but I also want to be sure I'm in good health so that I can live long. I would think that this is the priority on many individuals alike. How often do you work out your body and keep it primed for the future?

I like to focus on muscle increase lately. I recently acquired a nice weight bench and set. I did the standard I would say. I picked up a couple of 35 pound dumbbells and a 300 pound bench set. Now, I'm not saying that I can bench 300 pounds right off the bat. At this point I am dealing with 180 max. In all honesty, I am only striving to hit 200 pounds. This may or may not be a significant muscle increase. What I had in mind was beefing my arms up from 14 and a half inches to 15 and a half inches. It's a fairly simple muscle increase if I do say so myself. I'm sure this would be different from individual to individual.

Take my brother for example. He began pumping iron over 20 years ago. He was determined to bench 300 pounds. After a few years of going at it, he achieved his target muscle increase and is now able to bench the 300. This is great! That's how it should be for everyone. You simply have to stick to your guns. Quitting will get you absolutely nowhere.

It's very simple to attain muscle building routines and exercises in this day and age. All you need is your trusty personal computer and Internet access. Jump online and see what I mean. You will find numerous routines to help you achieve muscle increase. The information is there and it's free of charge. Now, all you need is a good gym or to purchase your very own equipment.
